Happy Easter and "Welcome" to my new blog! I thought Easter would be the perfect day to launch my new site because of the powerful in purpose and powerful in intent, meaning of this day.
I hope that my new site and new blog brings you great enjoyment, as we venture on this blossoming blog together!

My profession, as you know, is a "Life Coach Stylist". That means, that I use the principles of  Ancient Numeric Prismatic Color Therapy to do inner and outer makeovers. It's kind of like using the principles of Religion, Science, Pythagoras, and Coco Chanel all wrapped up into one!

So you are sure to see lots of colorful things on this blog, that pertain to fashion and style, but you'll also find what I deem to be thought provoking and heartfelt issues as well; beauty from the inside and out. The outer body loves to be pampered and nurtured, but never forget that the inner soul and spirit also needs love and nurturing as well.

So, let' s get on to the topic of my first post, Easter! I never met a marshmallow "peeps" I didn't like!
Many people for may reasons celebrate Easter, and I found a wonderful article that puts the historical meaning of Easter in place for you. Yes, I know it left out Easter Bunny, but I know deep in his heart the bunny forgives this blatant oversight!

The meaning of Easter - What does it mean to you?

"The now meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

However, Easter did not always symbolize Christ's resurrection from the dead and the meaning of Easter was quite different than what Christians celebrate today. The feast day of Easter was originally a pagan celebration of renewal and rebirth. Celebrated in the early spring, it honored the pagan Saxon goddess Easter. When the early missionaries converted the Saxons to Christianity, the holiday, since it fell around the same time as the traditional memorial of Christ's resurrection from the dead, was merged with the pagan celebration, and became know as Easter. The meaning of Easter was also changed to reflect its new Christian orientation.

Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe."  I found this article to be quite brief, but yet still enlightening overview.  No matter what your spiritual beliefs are, if you would like to go to the article's original link, finish reading the blog and then come back and click here: The True History of Easter

I am a huge animal lover, and I own a very adorable and spoiled Yorkie, whom was just as delighted as I was, to see the new Pope of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis bless "Asia" a yellow Labrador Retriever, who is an loyal and sweet service dog, of a visually-impaired journalist. Where many people, including myself believe that animals have spirits and souls, this was a wonderful gesture. It seems as though the new Pope, as many have pointed out, will very well follow in historic tradition  and be a champion for animals, as his namesake, St. Francis of Assisi who lived and cherished animals more than over 800 years ago!

Well, the Easter Bunny, is off  hosting a V.I.P. exclusive Easter egg gala, so in his place, here's an equally as cute Asia, making history!
Happy Easter! I'm now off to find strawberry flavored Peeps!!!
